On Wednesday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Frances and Nick for their pre-wedding photoshoot at Knaresborough Castle. What a lovely day and location for their shoot. It was great to see them again and spend some time with them. Knaresborough was pretty busy with the market and visiting tourists, but there are areas in and around the castle which are a little quieter with great backgrounds for photography.

Frances and Nick were a little apprehensive before we started but soon settled well into the shoot. I think the way in which I work with the couple they do not find it too invasive and can be themselves, whilst I stay a little in the background, using my eye to capture some lovely moments between them.

Knaresborough offers some great backgrounds. I love the stone of the ruins, and the rugged cliffs. It seems such a unique location in Yorkshire to capture a variety of different photographs.

Frances and Nick are due to marry at the beautiful location of Goldsborough Hall and I very much look forward to photographing their wedding. In the meantime please find some highlights from their pre-wedding photoshoot below.
