What a lovely location for the marquee wedding of Lucy & Chris this weekend. With a traditional garden party feel, Lucy & Chris planned a lovely country village church and marquee wedding in Lucy’s home village of Middleton Tyas near Richmond. St Michael and All Angel’s Church was the ceremony location of choice, and what an idyllic church set in beautiful surroundings. It really was lovely and my ideal type of location. I very much like rural weddings, and if you the weather is nice on the day then it makes it all the more stunning. The weather on Lucy & Chris’s day was not too bad. Although not bright sunshine, it was a little overcast at times, but with no hint of rain and warm temperatures, everyone was able to make the most of this rural outdoor location. You may recall the pre-wedding photoshoot of Lucy & Chris also at the same location a few weeks ago.
Some information to help in the planning of your wedding day is that the catering was organised by the award winning and highly deserved Clive Wilkinson of CWC Malings Ltd, the beautiful Rolls Royce was chauffeur driven by Terry Scott of Classic & Vintage Travel, Felicity Cook from Briar House Flowers created the stunning floral decorations and bouquets, Brian Cook from Brian Cook Productions was the videographer and great to work with, Burnett4Cakes created the stunning wedding cake, Temperley of London supplied Lucy’s elegant wedding gown, and Soul Beat were the band of choice for the evening reception.
