Another amazing winter wedding day for the marriage of Vicky & Rob at two stunning locations. Aldwark Church is an extremely quaint church set in a lovely village only a stone’s throw from where I live. We have walked to the church before and I have commented on wishing I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the church. It is very unique in its architecture, and is simply idyllic for a wedding ceremony. Rudding Park was the reception venue of choice for Vicky & Rob and you can understand why. Set in a beautiful woodland landscape setting with stunning views, on a day like Saturday it was a beautiful location for their wedding reception.
Vicky & Rob planned a superb day. They are a down-to-earth couple, and the day was very relaxed though well organised. Although the day was sunny, it was cold, and I was pleased that Vicky & Rob braved the elements to take advantage of the setting of Rudding Park to have some photographs of the two of them outside. All the formal line-up photographs were taken inside, but the lighting was superb and ideal for the formal line-ups, and there was only the large group photograph that was taken outside to take advantage of the stunning views.
Vicky & Rob are now away on a short honeymoon break in Paris. I am sure they will have a great time. In the meantime if you are planning a wedding some information to help in the planning of your day is that Vicky & Rob were chauffeur driven in a stunning Bentley provided by Yorkshire Wedding Cars, the beautiful floral bouquets were the work of Colette of Flowers by Colette, Trio Vivo of The Event Music Company provided the reception music, and Vicky wore an elegant Mia Sposa bridal gown.
Below is a selection of highlights from Vicky & Rob’s wedding day for you to enjoy.
