I photographed the wedding of Helen & Jonathan at the stunning Allerton Castle on Saturday, and what a great day. It must be one of the most stunning venues in Yorkshire, extremely unique with its Gothic architecture. It is certainly a very photogenic venue both inside and out, and I thoroughly enjoy working there. I had the opportunity to take some different photographs inside as the Helen & Jonathan had some time after the ceremony where I was able to capture some stunning photographs whilst they had some time to reflect and catch up with each other before joining their guests for their drinks reception.
The weather on the day was beautiful for the happy couple which made it all the more special as the drinks reception was outside, and we were able to take the formal photographs in the grounds of Allerton, as well as some photographs of the couple whilst the guests were ushered in for the wedding breakfast. Despite the number of photographs taken, I doubt the couple felt they were being photographed as I like to treat the time they have together as just that, where I stay in the background for the most part and capture some lovely intimate moments between the two of them. The results are very natural, artistic, fine art photographs that are simply beautiful with a romanticism about them. A selection of which is below for you to peruse.
I wish Helen & Jonathan a great time on honeymoon and I look forward to creating their album in due course.
