This weekends wedding must be one of the most enjoyable weddings I have photographed. Despite the fact that I photograph some really lovely weddings with some great people, this was one of those occasions where, when I was on my way home at the end of the day, I realised how much I love being a wedding photographer. Everything just went as it should, apart from a minor rain shower during the drinks reception. Timings were perfect. Everything flowed, the weather for the most part was great, and as a result I captured some great photographs.
You may recall Jennifer & Kyle’s pre-wedding photoshoot a few weeks ago on Ilkley Moor. Again a great location where I captured some lovely images. Jennifer & Kyle are a great couple, really easy to get on well with, very well organised, knowing what they want and appreciating quality. The result was a wedding that was simply perfect and it was a privilege for me to be a part of it.
Goldsborough Hall has beautiful gardens, with a bark covered path through a woodland area which is simply stunning for wedding photographs. We of course made use of this new feature which really suits my style of photography. I love photographing natural woodland, and to have a beautiful bride & handsome groom to photograph in such surroundings was idyllic. The resulting photographs are simply outstanding even if I do say so myself.
Jennifer & Kyle are now on honeymoon and I wish them the best time. They are great together and I look forward to creating their album in due course. If you are planning a wedding then information which may help with your preparations is that Jennifer’s stunning wedding dress was sourced from Ava Rose Hamilton, the lovely flowers were by Jill Springall, the videographer was James Hollingsworth from Digi-Scope, and the evening band were The Beat Collective.
Below is a small selection of highlights from Jennifer & Kyle’s wedding day for you to enjoy.
