Take a look at some of the photographs from what has to be one of the wettest yet extremely enjoyable pre-wedding photoshoots I have photographed. Sarah & Jonathan arranged for their pre-wedding photoshoot at Fountains Abbey, owned by the National Trust, which is an absolutely idyllic setting for any photography, in particular a pre-wedding photoshoot. With the freedom to use all the grounds, with very few people about, we were able to take our time to capture some lovely intimate moments between Sarah & Jonathan.
They were prepared for the weather, as was I, though the amount of rain was unprecedented. You may recall this was the first day of the Great Yorkshire Show, which was subsequently cancelled later in the day due to the heavy rainfall. It took some creativity to capture a great portfolio of images of the couple in preparation for their wedding in September.
As usual in the case of a pre-shoot, Sarah & Jonathan were a little apprehensive about being photographed, but soon settled into it, which on the day will prove to be very beneficial as they can simply relax about the photography and concentrate on their wedding day.
I am very much looking forward to photographing their wedding which is being held at Goldsborough Hall in September. A stunning venue, where I thoroughly enjoy working. In the meantime here is a selection of highlights from Sarah & Jonathan’s pre-wedding photoshoot for you to enjoy.
