Saturday was the beautiful wedding of Catherine & Michael at St Edward the Confessor Church in Clifford, and Ripley Castle. You may recall Catherine & Michael’s pre-wedding photoshoot at Ripley Castle a few weeks ago. It was a lovely wedding day, and surprisingly dry considering the weather forecast a few days prior. As a result it gave us the opportunity to take some photographs in the grounds, and with Ripley Castle being set in a stunning landscape, it was great to be able to do so as well as taking the opportunity of photographing on the impressive staircase in the old part of the castle.
Catherine & Michael organised a lovely wedding day with their close family and friends, and it was great to be able to share it with them. It was nice to be back at Ripley as it is one of the most impressive venues in the region. I hope to be back at Ripley in the near future as I thoroughly enjoy working there.
Some information to help in the planning of your wedding day is that Catherine’s beautiful wedding dress was supplied by Ava Rose Hamilton, the elegant floral bouquets were the creation of Helen James Flowers in Harrogate, Piece of Cake created their lovely wedding cake, Superior Motor Cars supplied the 1968 Jaguar and were the chauffeur company of choice, and The Paramounts were the evening band entertainment.
Catherine & Michael are spending a few days away in the Lakes, with a honeymoon on the cards later in the year. I wish them a lovely time away and look forward to hearing from them when they return. In the meantime here is a selection of highlights from their wedding day.
