Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Katy & Ricky at Allerton Castle. You may recall their pre-wedding photoshoot at Kirkstall Abbey in a previous blog article a few weeks ago. Katy & Ricky are a lovely couple and they had a lot of family and friends to help them celebrate their special day together. It was a superb day as weddings at Allerton Castle are very well organised. Allerton itself has the space to cater for larger wedding numbers, and a wedding of approximately 100 guests is no problem at all. As the weather was pretty wet for most of the day the wedding was predominantly an indoor affair, though I am pleased to say that the evening gave a few minutes of beautiful sunlight allowing me to capture Katy & Ricky outside on their own. They also held a tea ceremony as part of their day.
Katy & Ricky go on honeymoon later this week so I hope they get the opportunity to see the photographs before they go. Below is a selection of photographs that highlight their day for you to enjoy.
If you are planning a wedding and like some of Katy & Ricky’s choices of dress, flowers, band or wedding venue, then here are some details to help in the planning of your wedding day. Katy’s dress was supplied by Confetti & Lace in Leeds. The flowers were designed and created by Joanna at Twisted Willow. The Ceilidh band were Dancing Feet, and Allerton Castle are managed by Dine Services of Leeds.
