I had the very great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katherine and Robert at St Chad’s Church followed by their reception at the stunning Goldsborough Hall yesterday. Katherine had chosen a very elegant wedding dress with a long veil, and looked radiant, while Robert togged out in navy suit with cream tie to match his cream coloured button hole looked very dapper. In fact the whole wedding was very stylish from the white Rolls Royce wedding car to the floral bouquets and stylish elegant wedding cake. All were fitting for the venues of choice, and the weather stayed kind for them to make the most of the stunning gardens of Goldsborough Hall.

You may recall a few weeks ago I posted some photographs from Katherine and Robert’s pre-wedding photoshoot at Fountains Abbey. This was the ideal time to get to know the couple a little better and for them to get to know how I as a Yorkshire Wedding Photographer work on their wedding day. When a person is somewhat reserved in nature, as Katherine is, you can be a little apprehensive about being photographed, which does not help if you are slightly nervous on your wedding day. It was therefore lovely to see that Katherine was very relaxed and fully able to enjoy her wedding day and I was able to capture some lovely natural photographs as a result.

Katherine and Robert head off to Scotland today for the honeymoon and I wish them all the very best for their time away. I look forward to catching up with them when they return. In the meantime here is a selection of highlights from their wedding day for you to enjoy.
