On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Elise & Mitch at the stunning Goldsborough Hall, and was one of the most enjoyable weddings I have photographed. Despite the fact that I photograph some really lovely weddings with some great people, this was one of those occasions where, when I was on my way home at the end of the day, I realised how much I love being a wedding photographer. Everything was extremely well planned, timings were perfect and everything flowed well. The weather for the most part was great, and as a result I captured some great photographs.
You may recall Elise & Mitch’s Harewood House Engagement Photoshoot at Harewood House a few weeks ago. Again a great location where I captured some lovely images on a prefect summer’s day. Elise and Mitch are a great couple, really easy to get on well with, very well organised, knowing what they want and appreciating quality. The result was a wedding that was simply perfect and it was a privilege for me to be a part of it.
Goldsborough Hall has beautiful gardens, with a bark covered path through a woodland area which is simply stunning for wedding photographs. We, of course, made use of the woodland which really suits my style of photography. I love photographing natural woodland, and to have a beautiful bride & handsome groom to photograph in such surroundings was idyllic. The resulting photographs are intimate and romantic.
Elise & Mitch are now on honeymoon and I wish them the best time. They are great together and I look forward to creating their album in due course. Below is a small selection of highlights from Elise & Mitch’s wedding day for you to enjoy.
