Saturday once again saw me at the incredibly stunning location of Fountains Abbey for the pre-wedding photoshoot of Catherine & Anthony. On a rather dull and wet Saturday morning we made the most of what Fountains Abbey has to offer from the impressive ruins of the abbey to the tranquil picturesque water garden and the Temple of Piety. There are a lot of areas to explore at Fountains Abbey with so much variety to capture some stunning photography. For a pre-wedding photoshoot it has so much to offer that we had to be somewhat selective as a whole day can be spent in and around the grounds of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. There are some distinctive locations that I like to use, but I always find something different and interesting every time I visit, as I want to push my creativity to capture a unique and different set of images. It also differs depending on the weather, and having photographed in both heavy rain and on a lovely clear sunny day, Fountains Abbey never disappoints.
Although having previously met with Catherine, this was the first time I had met Anthony. I therefore feel a pre-wedding photoshoot is essential so that I can meet with the couple prior to their wedding day and we can get to know each other a little better, and they can see how I work, and will work on their wedding day. It was great to meet them both and hear more about their plans for their wedding day, which is only a few weeks away now between Christmas and New Year. I am really looking forward to it as I thoroughly enjoy working at Goldsborough Hall where their wedding reception is to be held. In the meantime here is a selection of highlights from their pre-wedding photoshoot for you to enjoy.
