Yesterday evening saw me at Museum Gardens in York for the pre-wedding photoshoot of Estelle & Neil, whose wedding is taking place in a couple of weeks time at Middleton Lodge in the stunning Middleton Tyas, near Richmond. With the daylight hours drawing shorter, we had limited time during the early evening for photographs, though Museum Gardens looks stunning not only in daylight but also when the ruins are lit at night. Unfortunately the park is closed before it gets too dark so we made best use of the time we had. The weather had been rather wet earlier in the day, and the forecast was for more of the same during the shoot, though were managed a lucky hour with a break in the weather. It was therefore a very pleasant evening spent with Estelle & Neil. You can tell we are coming into Autumn as the colours of the foliage is changing. It makes for a picturesque time of year photographing in the Autumn if the light is right and as you can see from some of the photographs below, there is lovely background colour.
I am very much looking forward to photographing their wedding and being at Middleton Lodge again. It is a great venue for a wedding with some unique features, specifically the oval room with stunning staircase. Please find below a selection of photographs taken during Estelle & Neil’s pre-wedding photoshoot for you to peruse.
