What a great day this weekend for the wedding of Helen & Michael at the stunning Monk Fryston Hall. Although the weather was a little overcast, it remained dry and relatively warm which allowed the beautiful gardens and grounds to be used by the guests. Monk Fryston Hall is beautiful, with rich oak panelled rooms, and beautiful gardens. It is a great location for a wedding, and has a very good reputation for quality food. I have eaten there a few times and would highly recommend it. It was fortunate that the day was dry enough for Helen & Michael to go down by the lake and into the woodland to capture some romantic natural photographs of the two of them.
Helen & Michael were extremely well organised and relaxed on their wedding day. It helped with us getting to know each other a little better, having a pre-wedding photoshoot at Roundhay Park a few weeks ago. As a result on their wedding day we got on well and they knew what to expect from me in the way I work photographing their special day. The result is some wonderful natural photographs capturing their day, to create a beautiful record of their day to keep for the rest of their lives. I am really looking forward to creating their wedding album design for them.
Some information to help in the planning of your wedding day is that Helen’s dress was supplied by Angel Brides of Horsforth, Leeds, Helen & Michael’s cake was the creation of Netty’s Cakes of Thornton, and the live band were Break Out.
Helen & Michael are currently on honeymoon in the US and I wish them a fantastic time. In the meantime here is a selection of highlights of their wedding day.
