Thursday evening was spent in the very pleasant village location of Brompton near Northallerton, for the pre-wedding photoshoot of Amy & Darren who marry in a few weeks time at St Thomas Church, Brompton. It is a quaint village with a large village green with a beck running through it so was a lovely location for a pre-shoot. Amy & Darren were both a little nervous about having their photograph taken, which often happens when using a public place during a pre-shoot. In the past members of the public have stopped and taken photographs themselves of the couple, presumably believing them to be a famous couple. A pre-shoot however does enable the couple to get used to having their photograph taken in public. On their wedding day they are much more prepared, know what to expect, and with them being in their wedding attire, it feels a little more natural to be seen having photographs. On a wedding day it is of course not just myself taking photography, but most of the wedding guests. I am sure that Amy & Darren did not feel as conspicuous towards the end of the photography shoot as at the beginning, which will certainly help them on their wedding day.
I am very much looking forward to photographing their wedding and if the weather stays nice, it will be a beautiful location for a wedding, allowing guests to have drinks on the village green. Below is a selection of photographs from their shoot for you to enjoy.
