I had a fantastic day on Saturday photographing the wedding of Frances and Nick at Goldsborough Hall. What a day. An Autumn wedding in a rural location is simply beautiful with some lovely colour in the leaves. The relaxed, happy atmosphere of Frances and Nick’s wedding made it a delight to work with them and capture their day for them.

Goldsborough Hall was as beautiful a location as always and is an ideal setting for a rural style wedding. It is one of my favourites and a location that is very photogenic. It was very nice to see Katherine and Rob whose wedding I photographed a couple of years ago also at Goldsborough Hall, and for them to be bridesmaid and best man for the wedding of Frances and Nick shows how close they all are.

The weather was kind despite the forecast, and for a mid October wedding a dry, calm and relatively mild day was ideal. The reception was able to be held outside for the most part, and it did not feel at all cold. Frances and Nick had time for a woodland walk where I stayed in the background for the most part to capture some relaxed and intimate photographs of them spending time together enjoying the day, before the meal and speeches took place in the orangery.

I am very pleased to have spent their wedding day with them and the photographs are a perfect reminder of their day. Here is a selection of highlights for you to enjoy.
