This weekend saw me at Hazlewood Castle, for what was a fantastic day, considering the weather in the morning.  In fact right up until 3pm it was raining, but the moment it stopped, it brightened up and turned into a beautiful autumn day.  It did this at the right time.  The wedding was the marriage of Carolyn & Anthony who are a great couple.  I really did enjoy photographing their wedding as they have a very nice set of family and friends.  We were able to take the formal group shots outside, and then I spent a little time capturing Carolyn & Anthony as they had a little time together outside, and with the colour in the trees I took some amazing photographs.  The light was exceptionally good and as you will see from the photographs it was a very colourful day.  Carolyn had chosen autumnal flowers for her bouquet which complimented the time of year very well indeed.

I look forward to creating an album design for them and hope they have a great honeymoon when they head of on Thursday.

This weekend has been particularly busy photographing something a little different to a wedding.  Friday evening and all day Saturday saw me at the Ampleforth College Society Weekend, photographing a reunion of past pupils of all ages.  A variety of events was planned for the weekend including a welcome buffet on Friday evening, with Saturday beginning with a rugby match, followed by lunch, a hockey match, cider tasting, and concluding with a formal dinner in the evening.  It was a great weekend and I was honoured to be a part of it, being made to feel very welcome indeed.  It was also interesting to photograph something different allowing me to use my artistic and creative skills to produce a selection of photographs that captured the weekend.  With the autumnal weather being particularly mild, the colours in the trees and the soft light made for some lovely photographs, a selection of which is shown below.  A thoroughly enjoyable event indeed.

 

What a great weekend.  Once again I was at Allerton Castle photographing the wedding of Annette & Stuart.  It was a brilliant day.  Annette & Stuart are a lovely couple and have some great friends and family.  It is always a pleasure to work at Allerton and with the weather once again being mild we were able to use the grounds to capture some stunning photographs.  Allerton is one of those venues where no matter what the weather there is always somewhere to take excellent photographs, so I was able to capture the castle to its full potential this weekend.  Annette & Stuart are easy to get on with and had a great time, and the photographs show that.  They head off on honeymoon on Wednesday and I wish them a fantastic time.  In the meantime here is a selection of photographs from their day.
