Goldsborough Hall Wedding – Rebecca & Paul
by admin on Aug.31, 2009, under Wedding
The second wedding this weekend was the marriage of Rebecca & Paul at St Mary’s Church, Goldsborough. A really lovely wedding and a great couple. An especially good day weatherwise and a very photogenic wedding. In fact I took in excess of 1000 photographs this day and captured some great moments. Although I love what I do, this is one of those days where I realise I am extremely fortunate to do what I do for a living. Rebecca & Paul are great and have some great friends and family. Goldsborough Hall was their wedding reception of choice and as usual everything was immaculate. I wish Rebecca & Paul a lovely time on honeymoon and here are some photographs to whet your appetite.

Wentbridge House Wedding – Natalie & Chris

A busy time this weekend with two weddings. Friday saw the marriage of Natalie and Chris. This was a really fun wedding with some friendly people. Natalie and Chris are great and well suited and it was a very enjoyable day. They had a civil ceremony and reception at Wentbridge House Hotel. It is three years since I last photographed a wedding at Wentbridge so was nice to be back. The weather was very changeable though came good when we needed it to as you will see from some of the photographs. I wish Natalie & Chris well for their married lives together and for their honeymoon, and look forward to creating their album.

Carlton Towers Wedding – Aimee & Stuart

I was once again photographing at Carlton Towers this weekend for the wedding of Aimee & Stuart. They had a church ceremony at St Stephen’s Church, Newport near Brough, with their reception at Carlton Towers. Again a fabulous day weather wise, and a lovely wedding. Aimee and Stuart are a great couple, and have a son Daniel, who was extremely well behaved and looked great in his little suit. The guests were great and I had good banter with them which makes for a very pleasant working day. Carlton Towers was very well presented and a great location for a wedding.
I wish Aimee & Stuart a great honeymoon and look forward to creating an album design for them. Here are some photographs to whet your appetite.

Allerton Castle Wedding – Julie & Jason

This weekend I was back at Allerton Castle, photographing the wedding of Julie & Jason, and once again a fantastic day. Allerton is always an idyllic setting for a wedding, and Jules & Jase are a great couple. Julie looked stunning, with a dress that was made for her, along which her bridesmaids who were in navy blue. The weather stayed good for the drinks reception, only raining when the wedding breakfast was served, with an evening sunset that was perfect for photography. An excellent day which I thoroughly enjoyed and as a result here are some photographs from their day:

Willerby Manor Wedding – Claire & Paul
by admin on Aug.03, 2009, under Wedding
This weekend I travelled to Beverley and Hull to photograph the wedding of Claire & Paul. Some of you may recall that I posted some photographs of their pre-wedding photoshoot on my blog a few weeks ago, and to photograph their wedding was great. They married at St John’s Church, Newland in Hull, and had their reception at the Willerby Manor Hotel. We stopped on the way between to take photographs at Skidby Windmill which was a great location to capture something different.
The weather was great considering the poor weather conditions both on the day before and day after. I really enjoyed Claire & Paul’s wedding and think they are great couple, and very well suited. An absolutely enjoyable day with the photographs to show for it. Take a look at a small selection of the photographs taken.

Castle Howard Engagement Photoshoot
by admin on Aug.02, 2009, under Pre-wedding
This week saw me photograph the engagement shoot of Tian & Tao at the glorious Castle Howard estate. Considering the weather was pretty poor in the morning, it turned out great when we arrived in the early afternoon. There is such spectacular scenery and surroundings at Castle Howard that it can easily be overwhelming and difficult to make the most of what is there. However we had a great time and spent a long time choosing locations and taking some great natural shots of the couple. They are a great couple, very well suited, and it was a pleasure for me to spend an afternoon with them. We even managed to take some in the house before it closed. As you will see the photographs have turned out great. Enjoy
